Good food. Great fellowship. Life-changing impact.

Join us for the second annual event: A day of food, fellowship, and friendly competition to help kids find their voice. Hosted by Carroll’s Sausage & Country Store and supported by the Scottish Rite in Georgia, this event combines Southern BBQ culture, outdoor traditions, and charitable impact into a single community experience.

Date: Saturday, February 13, 2027 Location: Carroll’s Sausage & Country Store | Ashburn, GA

Helping Kids Find Their Voice

Speech and language challenges affect a child’s confidence, education, and future opportunities. The Scottish Rite in Georgia supports RiteCare clinics providing speech-language therapy services that help children communicate with confidence and succeed in life.

“In giving a child the power to speak, we unlock the promise of their whole life.”

This event is more than just a gathering—it’s a movement. In 2026, the Outdoor Classic & BBQ Competition engaged hundreds of community members and raised over $65,000 to sustain these life-changing services.

What to Expect at the Classic

The Outdoor Classic brings together families, sportsmen, pitmasters, and community leaders. Whether you are competing or just coming for the food, there is something for everyone:

• BBQ Competition: Taste the best from local pitmasters and backyard teams.
• Outdoor Activities: Enjoy outdoor-themed demonstrations and explore vendor booths.
• Family-Friendly Environment: A welcoming space for community fellowship and networking.
• Live Program: Hear inspiring RiteCare stories and leadership remarks.
• Global Livestream: Watch the prize drawings, impact stories, and program highlights live from anywhere.

How do I participate? Attend the event, purchase tickets, compete, support the livestream, or share the event with your network. Every action contributes to the mission!

Where do I buy tickets? We’ll let you know when they are ready to purchase!
