Dedicated to the promotion and recognition of educational achievement and patriotism in all citizens -- in school, community and lodge.

The School Book Program

Placing copies of  Let’s Celebrate America (Elementary School Level), Let’s Meet Great Americans (Middle School Level), and Dynamic Freedoms (High School Level) in school libraries through the counties in the jurisdiction of the Valley of Atlanta, so that youth of all ages might be exposed to the great truths and concepts that under gird American freedom.

The Veterans’ Day Celebration

An annual event around Veterans’ Day when Scottish Rite Masons, their families and friends honor those who have served in our armed forces, and others who dedicate their lives to the preservation of the American way of life, to the defense of our Nation,  and to the safety of its citizens.

The Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Medal Program

Presenting certificates and medals to outstanding cadets in the JROTC programs of high schools throughout the Valley of Atlanta, one medal per school each year. Presentations are made, whenever possible, by a Scottish Rite Mason.

 

The Independence Day Picnic

An outing for families and friends, children of all ages, expressing our gratitude and joy in being Americans. For the seventh consecutive year, we will enjoy picnic food and festivities for a full afternoon at Sweetwater Creek State Park -June 30, 2007.
